Pasabta Ko

Kung magpagwapo, ingnon nga presko... kung magpabaduy ingnon walay ayu;

Kung mutabok ug kuptan ang kamot ingnon nga taktika... kung dili sad kuptan, dili gentleman;

Kung magpadala'g buwak ug tsokolate ingon style sa uban babae... kung dili sad magpadala, dayon pangluod kay walay gugma;

Kung magyawyaw unya morason ka, masuko... kung dili sad ka motingog, mosamot ang kasuko;

kung malate ka, grabe ang kasaba... Kung sila malate, nagpagwapa;

unya moingon dayon nga cool-off usa ta,

kung dili ka musugot, mangisog... ug kun musugot ka, maglagot...

Garnett - Everybody Wants You Happy

In its entire life of loneliness
A mere chance of getting out from the chain
A single chance of happiness he consume
A nightmare.

He wag his tail, his master calls
Someone knew his name
How happy he fell
By playing in biting.

Now, everybody wants him dead
A euthanasia he have to suffer
A single groan
A single cry.

Goodbye Garnett
What a sad way to raise you
If you could have been let go
You could have been good.

~Garnett, a Doberman dog (2007-2010) . Died by euthanasia. An intelligent dog who taught biting is part of playing.

Simala: the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist

Simala EntranceTime to reflect guys.

13th of the Month.

One weekend, our family have decided to visit the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist in Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga. It was 13th day of the month, so you would expect a lot of people who will do their share of faith.

As you enter the sacred place, start your penance by lining up for the visit to the sacred place of the Virgin of Simala. The lined maybe long, and the time maybe as well, but once you reach the sacred area, it is worth the wait.

If you can't be at the mass at 10:00 am because you have been in the lined for long, you can catch some during the 3:30pm mass. Mass for 13th day of the month is at 10:00 am and 3:30 pm.

After some time of reflection, enjoy yourself by their pond's full of Koi fish. Or, you can also help some of the locals by having foot spa. For Php50.00 pesos, a soothing and relaxing feeling graces you. Not only you have a spiritual cleansing, you also feel light as you walk out of the monastery.

Pacquaio vs. Clottey, and the Millions Watching Around the World...

Last March 13, The Event was held in Cowboys Stadium, Dallas, Texas where Manny Pacquiao battle it up against Joshua Clottey. Close to 51,000 spectators watch the said fight from the arena.

In a little barangay of Pulpogan, in a town of Consolacion, a CCTV was set-up for a live feed of the said fight. The viewing is free, and was sponsored by some of the politician running for a term in office. Just as many people gathers in the Dallas Stadium, so as in the basketball gymnasium. They may not be able to afford the luxury of watching the fight first hand, but the same exciting and anticipation is what you can feel.

Upon hearing Michael Buffer announced the start of the fight, you can't hear anything other than the shouting, and the eagerness to see a knockout. Everyone was so excited. Some can't even hold their sits that they prefer to stand up instead.

During the fight, that for every hit Manny makes to the defensive style Clottey, much more shouting and clapping you can hear. You can really feel their enormous admiration and look-up for their idol Pacquaio.

Here are some the picture of the millions watching around the world...

Did I say Manny won? Yep, Manny won via a unanimous decision against Clottey. You might gonna ask who will be the next opponent for Pacquiao, well, ask Floyd...

Sirao - Landscapes at its best

I have been to Barangay Sirao and back, but I haven't notice some distinct landscape or perhaps some perfect picture that could truly represent the barangay until recently.

Barangay Sirao is located in the western part of Cebu City. This barangay is known locally as the home of fresh and beautiful flowers. Here you can find the farms of flower that you see being sold down at the Freedom Park in Carbon market.

You can get to Barangay Sirao by driving up to Busay then stretch to Ayala Heights in Pung-ol and turn right upon reaching Kan-irag Nature Park.

One of the highlights of Barangay Sirao is the landscapes leading the village center. You will be leading a road with green scenery...

Additionally, here are some of flowers ever grown in the area:
a variety of orchid
dancing lady
Here is my favorite spot:

My Travian Experience

Travian as strategic game is one of my favorite online game. Starting out as a small village and controlling over it to become a mighty empire. With the help of an alliance, you can manage to increase its stature.

This is my first time since playing Travian that I manage to create a massive armada. With the help of the alliance TLL (Tribu ni Lapu-Lapu), through diplomacy, wars and strategy, making a small village grow is easy.

Travian: Tribu Ni Lapu-Lapu (TLL - Cebu)

Lapu-Lapu, is the chieftain in Mactan, an island of Cebu. He was the first Filipino who resisted the Spanish conquistadores (conquerors). On 1521, upon the arrival of Magellan, Lapu-Lapu rose his might and lead his men in opposing the Spaniards using only thier bows and arrows.

Travian, is a game of stragety. You lead as a small village eventually expanding its territory in order to rule the travian world.

I started playing Travian way back in 2006 from an invite of my officemate. But we didn't play seriously then, not until today. We were so noobs that we play individually. We didn't even know that there are some pinoys playing too.

Luckily for us, we were able to manage and compete with some other fellow internationally. Now, we had grown to quite a number here, and we even got acquinted to one pinoys alliance - the TLL or Tribu Ni Lapu-Lapu.

Here are some pics with the TLL-Cebu...

Alaska Sweeps 2010 KFC Philippine Cup Semis

With a score of 102-95, Alaska bring themselves back to the Finals Arena. Alaska fought hard in order to bring Ginebra into demise as they sweep their own semis, 4-0.

Hugnatan dominates the paint with some of his turn around moves. He scored 18 points and 10 rebounds enough to give him the best player of the game.

The Kings shakes off Aces in some time when Mamaril's hits a jumper to tie up the game at 85. However, Ace's Tenorio breaks it up with his three coupled with Devance 3-point play coming from a fast break.

Alaska can take a rest for a moment while waiting for the result of another semis between San Miguel and Purefoods. They tied the semis at 2-2.

A Good Way to Lost My 100 Pesos

I bet. I lost. I won.

I was scolding my 10-year-old niece for having been shouting his aunt (my cousin) and telling her some rude things. I scolded her so furiously as if I would beat her.

She go to her room and cried really hard. Gasping her breath crying, I gave her a glass of water.

I realized, though she doesn't have parents to run to, it's my obligation to fill one. Her parents were separated, with her mother worked abroad. She lived with us when she was a year old.

To calm her down and to let her realized the mistakes she had made, I brought her to the nearest fastfood (Chowking) with my other cousin of same age as her, and bought them some halo-halo. I let her ate the whole serving which she nicely shares to her cousin-aunt.

When headed home, I stop over to buy some buy-one-take-one burger. I told her why I do scolded here and explaining her the bad things she had done. She did promise me not to do it again. I told her to say sorry to her aunt and give her a piece of the burger we just bought. Piece offerings? Not really, I rather call it, Respect offerings...

How much I lost that day? Php100.00
How much I gain? Priceless Respect
